voices of the night - the dancer

from once upon a time-album in progress by Wolfgang Schweizer

about

one day he is walking around in the empty city at night after the bars have closed. As usual, he carries a flute with him he had just made during the day.
From far away he can hear music.
In a dark part of the city there is a stairs leading down to the place from where the music is coming.
There is no light,
He walks down the stairs and opens a door.
It is a bar deep down under the city, and there are people he has never seen before.
He orders a drink, and a girl starts talking to him.
Later he starts playing a melody on the flute. Then he falls into a sleep, and when he wakes up, everybody is gone. He is alone at the place, everything is quiet, but the lights are still on.
He tries to get out, but the entrance doesn`t exist anymore.
There is no exit. The stairs is gone, but when he touches the wall, there is no wall. It is just an image.
He can walk through the wall, and then he enters a big room, where people dressed in black suits are dancing.
One of the dancers is a woman covered with a black veil.

The people are dancing to the melody he had played at the bar before, and the woman with the veil is the only woman he can see clearly, because she is dancing in front of him.
It looks like they never stop dancing to always the same melody.
